Sliced Noodles (Daoxiao mian in Chinese) is a special traditional noodle dish that is originated from Shanxi and belong to one of the top five noodle dishes in China, along with Beijing's fried noodles, Henan's braised noodles, Hubei's hot dry noodles, and Sichuan's Dandan noodles. It enjoys a high reputation and is a famous delicacy in Chinese food culture.
The noodle shape is wide with more chewy texture in compared with other fine noodles. It is also very popular like Guanmiao noodle.
